Core Web Vitals คือชุดเมตริกที่ Google ใช้วัดประสบการณ์ผู้ใช้งานจริงและนำมาเป็นปัจจัยจัดอันดับโดยตรง ประกอบด้วย LCP (Largest Contentful Paint), CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift) และ INP (Interaction to Next Paint) ที่มาแทน FID ตั้งแต่ปี 2024
LCP — Largest Contentful Paint
เป้าหมายคือต่ำกว่า 2.5 วินาที วิธี optimize: ใช้ CDN, preload font, ใช้ next/image with priority สำหรับ hero image และลดขนาดภาพด้วย AVIF/WebP
CLS — Cumulative Layout Shift
ต้องต่ำกว่า 0.1 หลีกเลี่ยงการ inject ad หรือ banner ที่ดัน layout กำหนด width/height ของรูปทุกครั้ง และจอง space ให้ component ที่โหลดทีหลัง
INP — Interaction to Next Paint
ตัวใหม่ที่วัด responsiveness ของหน้าเว็บ เป้าหมายต่ำกว่า 200ms วิธีทำ: ลด JavaScript บน main thread ใช้ web worker สำหรับงานหนัก และ defer script ที่ไม่จำเป็น

การปรับปรุง Core Web Vitals ไม่ใช่งานครั้งเดียว แต่ต้อง monitor ต่อเนื่อง ทุกการ deploy ควรมี performance budget เพื่อป้องกัน regression
